This is a kind of mermaid show, called Azure You can enjoy eight minuites
show at Silverton Hotel in Las Vegas. I videotaped this, so this is totally
amature style,sorry for that.
Azure is the Silverton's brand new underwater fantasy show featuring talented
performers, some of which are Olympic-medallist synchronized swimmers. This
completely innovative show is performed entirely underwater inside an
120,000-gallon saltwater aquarium. Our beautiful mermaids and mermen swim among
over 4,000 fish and breathtaking coral, while performing innovative choreography
created by former Olympic synchronized swimming coach Stephane Miermont.
Azure is a free show.

CAST MEMBERS
Suwasit Ritthiphon Born September
18 in Udon Thani, Thailand, Suwasit has an immense variety of training and
skills that include Hip-Hop, lyrical Jazz, Ballet, Modern, Partnering, stunts,
cheerleading, swimming, characters, African, Tumbling and Free Styling. He has
been a member of the Culture Shock Las Vegas Dance Company for five years and
has worked numerous conventions and special events as a dancer throughout Las
Vegas from 1999 ? 2004. Suwasit is currently pursuing a degree in business at
UNLV.
Brandon Pereyda Brandon has ten
years of gymnastics training, including four years of coaching. He has
participated in four years of competitive cheerleading, two of which were in
competitive college All-Star Cheerleading and one with UNLV competitive cheer.
He has four years of training in aerial apparatus including Aerial Flying, Silk,
Straps, Hoop, Harness, Spanish Web, Web, Chains, Trapeze, Hammock and Hand-Loop.
While working for Franco Dragone, Brandon had one year of intensive synchronized
swimming training by Olympic coach Stephan Meirmont. He is currently performing
in Chippendales as a Lead and a Specialty Aerial Act, as well as performing
freelance aerial around the nation.
Heather Carrasco Born in Santa
Clara, California on May 25, Heather was a synchronized swimmer for 18 years
with the Santa Clara Aquamaid where they held the National Championship for five
years. She was a member of the United States National Synchronized Swim Team for
ten years, winning eight years of world championships. A member of the 1996
Olympic Gold Medal Team in Atlanta, Georgia for the United States, she coached a
club and Junior National Team for eight years. Heather is married with two
beautiful children. Her son, Victor, is seven and her daughter, Camryn, is
four.
Kristina Lum Born in Santa Clara,
California on October 18, Kristina has been a synchronized swimmer for 19 years.
She is a 2000 Olympian and was a National Team member from 1992 ? 1999. She was
the first mixed pair in the United States to compete at a National and
International level. Kristina has also been the coach of the National Champions
and the National Team Athletes since 2000.
Brynn Butzman Born in Hamden,
Connecticut on June 6, Brynn moved to Santa Clara, California with her family at
age 14 so she and her sister could pursue synchronized swimming careers. She
achieved a position on the Junior National team at age 16 and won Junior World
Championships in Moscow, Russia. She continued competing on Senior National
teams for the following three years. As a finalist at the 2000 Olympic trials,
she graduated Cum Laude from Santa Clara University with a BS degree in Biology
in 2002. Brynn has studied abroad in Edinburgh, Scotland and lived inDelhi,
India for a summer as a volunteer at Mother Theresafs Orphanage. She plans to
attain a Masterfs and PhD in occupational therapy and work with children with
Autism and other developmental disabilities.
Kraig Carrier (Kai) Born and
raised in Orlando, Florida, Kai trained for 14 years at the Joan Crawford
Academy of Dance which ranked second in the United States at National
competitions. He spent four years traveling the world including South America,
Europe and Japan, where he lived for almost two years, as a professional dancer
and singer. He was a featured equity performer at Walt Disney World and aspires
to be a world-renowned producer and director. Kai is excited to combine his love
for performing with is love for the ocean here at the Silverton.
Elizabeth Steers Born and raised in
Matawan, New Jersey, Elizabeth trained for six years at the Academy of Ballet in
Red Bank, New Jersey. She attended the Boston Conservatory of Music on a full
scholarship and earned a BFA in Dance. This was followed by an invitation and
full scholarship to the Alvin Ailey Dance Theater in New York City where she
concentrated her studies on Modern Dance. Elizabeth traveled the world with
David Copperfield as the featured dancer and spent ten years in New York City as
a world renowned gRadio City Rocketteh. She loves long walks in the park with
the three most important men in her life: her dogs Ceeko, Henry and Ralph.
Sandrine Mattei Born in
Porto-Vecchio, Corsica on May 19, Sandrine graduated Gold Medal from the
National Conservatory of Nice, France after five years of training as a dancer.
She was a dancer for the National Opera Ballet in Bordeaux, France and the
Collection Privee Caberet Revue in Paris. Sandrine was a dancer in a Britney
Spears clip for Disney Studio in Paris, France and a dancer and character in a
Childrenfs musical at the Unesco Theater in Beirut, Lebanon. She was also a
dancer and gPas de 2h soloist in the German Tour.
Timery Chambers Born and raised in
Las Vegas, Nevada, Timery began her swimming career at age four. She is a
graduate of the UNLV Honors College with a degree in Communication as well as a
four year letter winner on UNLV Menfs/Womenfs Swimming Team from 1998-2002. As
an NCAA Division I Scholarship recipient for swimming at UNLV, she was a member
of the All-Conference Swimming Team from 1999 to 2002. Timery was also a member
of the All-Academic Swimming Team between 1998 and 2002 and loves to act!
Catherine Garceau Born in Montreal,
Canada on July 1, Catherine began synchronized swimming at age 11 and progressed
quickly to the National Team level. At age 16, she won a gold medal for Canada
at Junior Worlds. As a member of the National A Team from 1997 ? 2002, she has
represented Canada at International competitions all around the world. Also an
Olympic bronze medallist in Sydney, Australia in 2000, she graduated from the
University of Toronto with a Bachelorfs of Commerce degree, specializing in
Finance and Economics. Catherine has been a motivational speaker for children
and corporations since 1998 and is part of Future is Female, a cross-country
conference series for young girls. She has also spoken at schools as part of the
Esteem Team program.

Stephane Miermont Born in France on
December 4, Stephane was a National Champion in the mixed pair in synchronized
swimming. He went on to coach the French and United States National Teams from
1988 - 2000. Stephane was also an original cast member and main character in
Cirque du Soleilfs gOh from 1997 - 2002 and the choreographer for the 2003 World
Champions in synchronized swimming. Azure is produced and designed by Stephane
Miermont.
